Bio:
Scott MacCrimmon joined the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Board of Directors in 2013 and he is currently serving Chair. He is the co-owner of Ed Huck Marine in Rockport, Ontario. Scott’s professional designations include: Certified Professional Yacht Broker CPYB and Registered Licensed Florida Yacht Broker. Scott is also involved in various organizations such as: The OMOA (Boating Ontario), and the Toronto Boat Show Advisory Committee. In previous years he was past Chair of the Canadian Discover Boating Board, past Board Member of the U.S. Discover Boating Board, and past Board Chair of Spader Performance Group 20 Organization. Scott is married to Heather Huck and has two children, Jack and Hannah.

Heather Halladay

Title: Vice-Chair
Bio:
Heather Halladay joined the Foundation in 2011. She was born and raised in Brockville returning home after university to begin her working career in the financial services industry and is currently a Wealth Advisor with ScotiaMcLeod located on King Street. She is married to Barry and they have 1 daughter. She is an avid reader and other hobbies include boating on our beautiful St. Lawrence River.

Ruth Lockett

Title: Past Chair
Bio:
Ruth Lockett became a Board Member with the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation in 2009. Ruth has completed her term as Chair and will now serve as Vice-Chair.

Ruth has lived in the Prescott area all of her life. She and her husband Steve have co-owned and managed a thriving Tim Horton’s in Prescott for over 20 years with their son Shawn.

Ruth is very community minded; in the past, she has served on the Alzheimer’s Society of Leeds and Grenville, as well as the habitat for Humanity Prescott Branch. Ruth is the Past-President of the Brockville Women’s Network.

When time allows, Ruth enjoys travelling and boating, but her first priority is spending time with family.

Ainslie Coleman

Bio:
Ainslie joined the BDHF Board of Directors in September 2013. She is currently a lawyer at Hain & Coleman, Lawyers Practising in Association. She has previously been a nurse – B.NSc., R.N.

Ainslie is also involved in the Leeds and Grenville Law Association and the Lyn Public School Parent Council.

Maureen Fraser

Maureen Fraser

Bio:
Maureen Fraser has lived in Leeds and Grenville for over thirty years, the last nine in Brockville. Prior to retirement she was Vice President, Human Resources at Brockville General Hospital. Ms Fraser also worked for twenty years for unions representing healthcare employees, including the Ontario Nurses’ Association, the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, and the Association of Allied Health Professionals. She holds degrees from Queen’s University in Education, Public Administration and Law.

Ms Fraser has been a member of the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Board of Directors since 2010. As a former member of the senior leadership team at BGH, she has experienced the challenges inherent in delivering high quality patient care with limited resources. Ms Fraser believes the Foundation in partnership with our community can help the Hospital achieve its goals.

Linda  Hansen

Linda Hansen

Bio:
Linda joined the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Board of Directors in June 2017. She is a Registered Nurse (MSCN Gerontological Nursing), and is currently the Co-ordinator/Counsellor of the Upper Canada Family Health Team Smoking Cessation Program, and the Co-Founder and past Director of the Leeds and Grenville Alzheimer Society. She is a member of 1000 Women Who Care.

She has been the Past president and member of Vanier PS and BCI Parent Councils, and a director for the BGH Board of Governors 2014-2016.

In her spare time, Linda is a part-time fitness instructor for GoodLife Fitness and more recently SNAP Fitness.

Heather Howard

Heather Howard

Bio:
Heather Howard joined the Foundation Board in the Summer of 2014. She is the owner and operator of FoxRun by the River Retirement Residence in Gananoque, and she also operates a duty free business. In the past, Heather managed a travel agency as well as a school bus company. Presently, she is only involved with the Foundation Board; however, in the past she has been actively involved at the Board level with the Gananoque and 1000 Islands Chamber of Commerce, the CPHC Family Health Team, and the 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation. During her off hours, Heather enjoys the outdoors in the 1000 Islands at her cottage with family and travelling.

Dennis Hudson

Bio:
Dennis Hudson joined the Foundation Board in September. He is a Certified Financial Planner and a Life Insurance Specialist for DLK Insurance and Financial Services, Brockville. Dennis also served as President of the Leeds and Grenville Insurance Brokers Association, he is a life-long resident of Athens, Ontario, and proud husband to Jennifer, and father to Kathryn and John Robyn…and Baby #3 due in January 2015!

Bio:
Mary Lynn O’Shaughnessy joined the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Board in August 2014. Mary Lynn is currently a Human Resources Business Partner with TELUS. Over the course of her career she has held positions as HR manager and HR Advisor at Alcatel-Lucent and Newbridge Networks. She currently is a Committee Member with the Brockville Country Club. When not working or volunteering, Mary Lynn enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Chris Puddicombe

Chris Puddicombe

Bio:
Chris currently works with the Provincial Ministry of Economic Development, managing a team of Senior Business Advisers in Eastern Ontario providing advice to and developing relationships with Ontario companies and economic development organizations. Trained in problem solving, Chris’s team assists companies in expansion mode with solutions that address a wide range of challenging issues facing Ontario business today.

Chris has served as a Brockville City Counsellor and served on a number of Brockville organizations and committees. Chris is also known for his more entertaining roles in the community as master of ceremonies for Brockville Chamber of Commerce Business awards, event grand openings including the Brockville Arts Center Gala and his more recent role as master of ceremonies for the Brockville General Hospital Foundation Gala in 2015. Chris is married and has four children.

Jamie Wright

Bio:
Jamie joined the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Board in June of 2017, and has previously been involved with the Foundation through the Brockville Cardiovascular Program fundraising committee.

Jamie has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry, holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) Designation, and is an Associate Portfolio Manager with Philip, Gaskin & Wright Private Investment Management of RBC Dominion Securities.

He was born and raised in Brockville, and currently resides in the community as the proud father to his two children, Carson and Kate.

Sandra Devaney

Title: Brockville Volunteer Association Representative
Bio:
Sandra joined the Brockville District Hospital Foundation in June 2016. She is a Director, YMCA Brockville and Area YMCA Foundation Board of Directors; Director, Loaves and Fishes Board of Directors; Fundraising Cabinet, United Way of Leeds and Grenville; Vice President, Brockville General Volunteer Association; and on the Special Events Committee, Aquatarium. She is also a retired Director of Development, YMCA of Brockville and Area.

In her spare time, Sandra loves to play duplicate bridge, serve meals at Loaves and Fishes, interact with patients and customers at the Hospital Shop, experience wine tasting with friends, and travel whenever possible.

Nick Vlacholias

Bio:
Nicholas (Nick) Vlacholias joined Brockville General Hospital as President and Chief Executive Officer in July 2017. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) leading a team comprised of clinical departments and corporate services. Nick has more than 20 years of experience transforming and integrating health care organizations into high-performing centres. Prior to joining CHEO in March 2012, Nick served as the Chief Operating Officer at Cornwall Community Hospital where he successfully led the complex merger of the two Cornwall Hospitals.

Nick is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1990.

Nick has participated as a Director with the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA), and over the past five years he has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the newly amalgamated Mohawk Medbuy Corporation and its predecessor organization Medbuy Corporation.
