On June 17, the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation was thrilled to welcome community members to our third MEDtalks session — Smart Moves for a Safe Summer.
This fun and light-hearted evening brought people together to learn simple tips and expert advice on how to stay healthy and safe through the summer months. Our panel of local experts covered everything from water safety and recognizing heat stroke (in both people and pets), to preventing skin damage, handling wildlife encounters, and protecting yourself from pesky ticks and mosquitoes.

After the presentations, the audience had a chance to dive deeper with an interactive fireside chat — asking questions, sharing stories, and picking up even more great tips for a safe summer season.
