"25 Days of Winning" Raffle Rules and Regulations

Eligibility

• Open to legal residents aged 18 and above at the time of purchase.
• Tickets cannot be purchased by a minor
• Only tickets that have been paid and/or verified as paid are eligible for the raffle
• Tickets must be sold within the province of Ontario
• The following, and immediate family members, residing in the same household, are not eligible to purchase tickets:
  • Staff and Board Members of the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation

By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to allow us, the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation and its licensed gaming suppliers, providing services to this program, the right, if you are one of the prize winners, to use and publicly disclose your name, municipality of residence, image, photograph, and likeness, as a prize winner, in any means required by the terms of our raffle license and/or that we consider appropriate for purposes of administering and promoting the raffle, without notice, review or approval or additional compensation to you.

The liability of the licensee of this raffle shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

Entry Method

• Entries can be made by purchasing a raffle ticket at one of the designated locations below
  • Brockville Hyundia, 770 Stewart Blvd, Brockville, ON K6V 5T4
  • Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, 75 Charles St, Brockville, ON K6V 1S8
• Each ticket purchased will serve as an entry for the entire duration of the raffle

Tickets

• Only 3,500 tickets will be produced and sold
• Tickets are $50.00 each
• Any verified tickets purchased made on or before December 29, 2023 will be entered into the raffle draw
• The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure that they receive their ticket(s); however, participants do not need their ticket(s) in hand in order to be included in the draw.
• No refunds will be issued after commencement of the draw
• Tickets purchased are not tax deductible

Ticket Deadline and Draw Dates

• Ticket sales deadline is 5pm the day before a draw date to be entered in to win
• Raffle dates are listed below.
• Draw times will be at 10am on the specified dates

Draw Control

• A draw will be held daily for 25 days, each corresponding to a specific prize. Draw dates listed above
• Winners will be randomly selected from the eligible entries for each day's draw
• The grand prize winner will be announced on the final day of the raffle
• The raffle draw will follow a strict set of procedures as outlined by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)
• The winning tickets will be pulled at Brockville Hyundai, 770 Steward Blvd, Brockville, ON K6V 5T4 on the dates listed above at 10am. A video recording will be taken each day of the draw
• Once pulled, the winning ticket shall be deemed final and correct. The ticket will be put back into the pool of eligible tickets for future prizes

Winner Notification

• Winners will be notified  through the contact information provided during ticket purchase
• The winning ticket number and purchaser name will be published online through the BDHF official website and social media channels the day of the live draw
• Ticket fulfillment and draw control is administered by the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation in accordance with guidelines stipulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and the City of Brockville licensing department
• In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)

Prize Claim

• The prizes will be award to the individual named on the official purchased ticket. Receipt and proof of purchase constitutes a valid ticket
• It is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to allocate the prize
• Raffle draw winners will be asked to claim their prizes in a timely manner. A date and time will be scheduled for prize pick up with the winner at the time of notification. 
• Prizes can be picked up from Brockville Hyundai, 770 Stewart Blvd, Brockville, ON K6V 5T4
• Delivery for the following prizes can be arranged for the following prizes within 250 km from the City of Brockville
  • Delivery of shed
  • Delivery of hot tub
  • Work for Distinct Lawn Works
• The winner of the shed is responsible to obtain a permit for the shed should be be required

Privacy Policy

The Brockville and District Hospital Foundation respects your privacy. We protect your personal information and adhere to all legislative requirements with respects to privacy. Personal information collected will be used to administer and evaluate the Raffle Draw, including fulfilling raffle ticket orders and contacting and publicizing the name of the winners. We may also use your information to connect with you to keep you informed about the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists.
