Brockville And District Hospital Foundation Successfully Achieves $12.5 Million Fundraising Goal For Critical Equipment

Brockville, January 31, 2024 — The Brockville and District Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its ambitious fundraising campaign, surpassing the targeted goal of $12.5 million to acquire critical medical equipment.

The campaign, titled "Your Health Your Hospital” aimed to raise funds for state-of-the-art equipment that will significantly enhance patient care, diagnostics, and treatment outcomes at Brockville General Hospital. Through the overwhelming support of our community, donors, and partners, we not only met but exceeded our goal.

Campaign co-chairs, Scott MacCrimmon and Dawn Tymianski were thrilled to lead the charge and had this to say, “Together, we've not just met a goal; we've exceeded it. Your generosity has transformed our vision into reality, and our hospital is now better equipped to bring health, hope, and healing to our community. Thank you for making a lasting impact.”

Trish Buote, Executive Director at Brockville and District Hospital Foundation also commented on meeting the target, "We are deeply grateful for the incredible support we've received from our community, donors, and partners. This achievement highlights the collective commitment to advancing healthcare and ensuring that our hospital remains at the forefront of medical excellence."

The funds raised will go towards acquiring cutting-edge equipment, including the MRI & Suite, Mammography Machine and other critical equipment, which will play a pivotal role in providing advanced care to patients and meeting the evolving healthcare needs of our community.
