A Gift that Continues a Mother’s Legacy
.
The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation recently had the honour of meeting a dedicated son and all-around wonderful person, Norman C. Kidd, who, in memory of his late mother, Patricia Nadine Kidd, generously donated a new BILEVEL PAP DEVICE for use at Brockville General Hospital. This thoughtful contribution comes at a crucial time, as one of the machines had recently broken, making it an especially meaningful and valued addition to our hospital.
Patricia Nadine Kidd was a warm-hearted and generous woman who embodied the very best of family and friendship. She offered unconditional love to all who recognized and were open to it. Patricia Nadine Kidd believed in the importance of family and friends supporting one another through both good and bad times, always working to find common ground, mending relationships when necessary, and never giving up – no matter how challenging the circumstances or personalities involved. Her sentiment is one we can all strive to emulate in our own lives.
Patricia Nadine Kidd lived with loyalty, support and encouragement for everyone fortunate enough to meet her. Though she leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who loved her, her spirit of love and encouragement lives on through this meaningful gift made in her honour.
As her son, Norman C. Kidd would say to his mother each night, “You must never be worried about ever being alone as you will never be alone. You will always be in my heart, and I in yours.”
May we all find comfort in those words and be forever grateful for the generosity and the life well-lived of Patricia Nadine Kidd.
