We get together every year because “It Matters”.
It Matters that we look after each other, it Matters that we care for each other, and it Matters that the outreach program for Palliative Care continues in our community!
To date your support has helped to raise over $5,193,400.00 through this signature event, in efforts to support the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Program.
This program costs $900,000 on an annual basis and leans almost entirely on the funds raised by you and our community. By supporting this event you are making certain that this service continues to provide the best quality of life for the critically or terminally ill, by ensuring their comfort and dignity during their final days, adding life to days, when days cannot be added to life.

Palliative Care in Our Community
Brockville General Hospital’s Palliative Care Team provides essential, compassionate services to patients and families across Leeds and Grenville, covering a vast area from Gananoque to Cardinal and extending north to Westport, Rideau Lakes, and North Grenville.
The annual cost to run the Palliative Care Outreach Program is over $900,000.
The Program receives minimal funding and relies on the generosity of our community to sustain the services that the Palliative Care Program provides.
