This holiday season, the Palliative Care terrace at Brockville General Hospital is glowing with warmth, thanks to the generosity of Rotary Brockville. Earlier this month, the club donated a collection of light-up outdoor animal displays, hoping to bring joy to patients, families, and staff.

These charming decorations have a unique history. Originally used during stationary Santa Claus parades held during the COVID-19 lockdown, they were carefully stored away afterward. Rotary Brockville decided these displays could bring more happiness to the community and found the perfect home on the Palliative Care terrace.

We are deeply grateful to the Ed Coon, Dave Paul and Rotary Brockville for their thoughtfulness and for helping spread holiday cheer. Their gift reminds us of the power of community and the impact small acts of kindness can have on others.

If you’d like to see the displays or learn more about how you can support Palliative Care at Brockville General, feel free to contact us.

Together, we can continue to bring comfort and joy to those who need it most!
