David Beatty and Mary Jean McFall were officially introduced as the Co-Chairs of the “Under One Roof” Redevelopment Campaign by the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation’s (BDHF) Vice-Chair Heather Halladay at the Brockville General Hospital’s Ground Breaking Ceremony April 4th. Planning for this project is well underway and the BDHF Board and staff are pleased to have secured David and Mary Jean, such dedicated community citizens to lead the fundraising charge. David and Mary Jean have recently formed a strong cabinet of individuals and community leaders to assist them in achieving the community share commitment of 20 million dollars.
This redevelopment project has been a vision since 2000 to amalgamate the services between the Charles and Garden Street sites “Under One Roof”. These services include: Palliative Care, Restorative Care, Rehabilitation Services and Complex Continuing Care.
While the community share is an ambitious goal, the BDHF and its Board, staff and Campaign Cabinet are confident it is achievable with the support of individuals, corporate citizens, and service groups from every corner of Leeds and Grenville.
